This actually didn't start out as Katara. I was sketching out random sorceress and mage characters and halfway through one sketch I thought the outfit looked a lot like Katara, so I ran with it.
I played with her outfit a little, mostly 'cuz I couldn't remember how it went. I went crazy with her wrap things, I know. I also loosened up her hair because...well...don't know why. I guess I just like it that way. :3 I also decided since I was fudging her costume, might as well mess with colors too. Namely her hair and skintone. I put a lot more brown than I normally see. Her skin was a treat. I think she looks better here with some copper thrown in. ^_^ |
