First off, mad mad mad props have to go to ^_^ I told her I've been working on a Megatron girl design every since Prima but never came up with anything I really liked, especially when it came to her head piece, so she sketched some stuff out... [link]
The most obvious thing I stole was the head piece. Before I was trying to emulate Megatron's "helmet" but that wasn't showing off her hair much (and you all know that I can't have that), but in her sketch she gave her a kind of Scarlet Witch faceplate which I really liked. I also borrowed a lot from her boot designs, and kept her shoulders bare. ^_^
As for my stuff, I gave her more of a 'skirt' here using a lot of Megatron's existing waist armor. For you purists, she DOES have the gun barrel on her back in my design. You just can't see it due to her pose and her hair.
And you Avatards'll appreciate the hairstyle. Yes, that is Azula's "do" you're seeing, and I even modeled her "Decepticon" hair clip after Azula's crown thingy.
The colors weren't that hard to come up with, thought the darker shade of grey/gunmetal took a few tries. She originally was gonna be a brunette but I tried jet black as a test and loved the contrast. ^_^
When we had the Prime...a Megatron version was bound to appear. For you cannot have one without the other.
