Finally, my overdue follow-up to the movie Autobot piece. [link]

This obviously took a while to do (a big shout-out goes to for keeping me company [SANE] during the inking ^_~). Mostly because a bulk of the movie 'Cons have these animal-esque designs. So bear with me here...

MEGATRON:

I've tried this design before, but I was never happy with it. [link]

I thought the design had too little armor on it and the hair didn't quite work. So I gave her a lot more detail on the armor (which I later kicked myself for when inking ^_^ and cropped her hair to show off her head. I also made her a brunette to better match the outfit. For her weapon I armed her with the cannon Megatron uses to bitchslap Jazz with in the city battle. XD

BONECRUSHER:

This design was FUN. This guy was freaky in the movie, so I thought his cosplay girl version should follow suit. :3

With the long arms, a hunched over pose seemed like a good way to go. Her pink hair was a last-minute call when I was coloring, because pink can be scary too. XD

DEVASTATOR:

Yeah, I know the name is "supposed" to be Brawl, but I think Devastator sounds so much cooler (GeeWun be damned )

This was the easiest to design. The main thing here is the visor. Like Jazz, I thought Devastator's big red eyes were so prevalent in his design that I thought I needed to bring them out here, so I designed a headpiece around the shape of the robot head. The big claws were a lot of fun too. The colors here are a bit brighter than the movie version, but I think it still works. ^_^

STARSCREAM:

Starscream was also a pretty easy to design. If you've seen the promo pics of 'Screamer you know that she needed to own "Sharp." The tough part here was coming up with a hair and skin color that didn't blend it too much with the armor.

BARRICADE:

I've done this design before too, so not much to say about this. The main thing here is Frenzy, who (like Scorponok) didn't translate that well into a female human form. So since Frenzy and Scorpy are deployed by bigger Transformers, I thought they could be... PETS!

Frenzy here is a pissy-looking cat. Because cats are sneaky and evil. XD

BLACKOUT:

This may be my favorite of these if not just for how her color scheme turned out. While I was sketching a happy accident occurred and her face turned out on the Asian side, which was good because I was gonna make her hair black anyways (black=Blackout, get it? ^_~) Anyhoo, the skin tone ended up being a great contrast with the dark Pave Low helicopter skin. :3

Scorponok here is an evil Pomeranian. 'Nuff said. XD
